Normal problems please !

I miss the normal problems

I miss mom scolding me for being late from work
I miss being stuck in traffic when out for office
I miss being out with my friend and then planning another outing
I miss the gossips at the coffee shops
I miss the crowd at McDonald's
I miss waiting for my chance in the queue of burger King
I miss seeing the teenage girls in sarees for farewell in college waiting the bus and the train
I miss seeing the boys trying to fix the loose tie standing by their crush

I miss seeing dad care free about us being out of home

I miss the normal problems

The news of people dying is suffocating
The news of all the chance for this virus vanishing is nowhere
They talk of precautions
Now each day seems a achivement
Now each but of oxygen seems a reward
Now washing hands seems the only hygienic essential
Now being around your loved once seems so terrifying
You can't touch them
You can't hug them
You can't even wipe their fear tears
You can just stand their praying to the universe for this nightmare to end

I miss the times when people did even knew if they were breathing
I want to be little longer on the streets in the crowd
And stroll with friend for a little longer for the roads to be clear and then find and count the couple of stars in the sky besides the moon
Staring the walls seems dead end
I miss those times when staring at the wall was romantic because the lessons in those reference books suck
I miss seeing ballon girl in front of my building
The candy floss dancing in the air on the sellers stick
I miss awaiting for mom to finish her hi hello gossips with her long lost friend, whom she just found on the road
Calling them sucks
Not able to see them smile, laugh, wave hands at each other is so disheartening

I miss the normal problem

I wish we could have the normal problems
Of heavy rain
Enormous traffic
Late trains
Lengthy lectures
Being late to office
School kids awaiting for summer vacation
School kids awaiting for schools to reopen
Being late to home from office, from school, from college
Being out for days on a mountain or a beach house not to escape a pandemic but to enjoy the nature
Being eager to see a friend at college
Able to cook dinner and decorate my friend's room for her birthday
Delivering online gifts seems boring
I can't see the spark in her eyes for her birthday
I can't see the annoyed face he makes when you spoil his coffee on night outs

I wish to have the normal problems and not the fear of lose of life with each ticking second on the clock

Drifting thoughts of 5AM...

Does the silence gets you in future Does the lonely soul feels the presence of that soul Does the plugged earphone tune that voice Does the present wants to repeat those chapters Do that fights are more engrossing ,than those serious talks Does every word on the screen is felt like , 'This is to be stared' Do you star it like ,Mam in school used to star your best art, poem recitation , the curves of alphabet on paper Do you feel like you are queen of those interrogative phrases Do you find yourself foolish enough to check on the never changing constant blank circle on the screens chat app Do you randomly feel like drifting away from your goals Do you hit your head hard , In the middle of the crowd , To break this thoughts and come back to 23 October,2017 And its just 5:21 to think of this silly questions...

The shying words

How do you believe the moon isn't whispering your stories to someone aren't the chance of him whispering it to some writer high May be one of the reasons why you related to the story yesterday on Netflix May be that's how your crushes end up in your favorite color today May be that's how you cleared the interview today How do you know the moon isn't working on his script with your lines If you can believe someone that far How do we end up doubting the skin and flesh besides and around us If we don't hold expectations and grudges when it comes to him Why wonder for years over a message that din come through I don't understand how we whisper our secrets to the mountains and the sea but fear of losing them against the people we breathe with How do we trust the living forms breathing without the flesh over the living we can touch and feel How do I trust the paper with my words and strangers with my smiles With every question I pen I end of writing hope, belief, ...
